Hooters
C stands for Colorful, Catamaran and Champion, especially
in the case of this 36-foot Nor-Tech, powered by twin Mercury
Racing 525 SCi's. For 2004, Fort Myers, FL driving ace Steve
Page has teamed up with Dr. Norm Colby to capture the checkered
flag in OSS Cat class.

MTI builds some of the hottest race
boats around, and this 39-foot cat is one prime example.
You'll see this twin 525 hp Mercury Racing-equipped water
warrior competing in APBA Offshore Racing's Super Cat Light
and Outlaw Performance 1 classes. Veteran driver Mitch Miller,
Cornelius, NC, is the designated driver. Throttleman is
none other than Bob Bull, Merritt Island, FL, who pulls

Black Pearl
Featuring eye-popping graphics, this 38-foot, twin Merc
525 SCi-propelled Fountain raced under the Utz Quality
Foods banner in 2003. Equipped with new powerplants and
a name change, the exotic V-bottom title seeker also comes
with two drivers: Gary Easterling, Sarasota, FL and Lou
Dickie, Memphis, TN. Fellow Sarasota racer Dave Peterson
is the team's stick-handling pro.

Fortress
Will Smith's Phantoms are a dominant presence on the race
circuit and this 30-footer is determined to retain its bragging
rights as numero uno in last year's APBA Offshore Outlaw
Performance 3 class. The skills and talents of driver Mark
Slater, Waterford, MI and throttleman Tyler Crockett, Ruby,
MI (whose company also built the boat's 565-cubic-inch powerplant)
could prompt a repeat performance in 2004.
