Washington, North Carolina-based Baja Marine has confirmed they will be in full force for the 2013 model year, starting at the 2012 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show where the company will showcase a series of models with upgrades and several power options.
According to Johnny Walker, CEO of Baja Marine, the company will display a premiere launch of the 30’Outlaw along with the 278 Performance, a 26 Outlaw and 247 Islander. Walker also explained that the 30 and 35 Outlaws were also very popular models in the series (along with the 26 Outlaw) and the company projects the models will be further developed throughout 2013.

“The models are a reintroduction of the previous Baja brands and we are bringing back the most popular models and will be building from there. This is a start of new a process and we look forward to developing as time goes on,” said Walker.
In addition to a series of appointments including thru-transom exhaust, new color schemes in the interiors, and Livorsi hardware at the helm, both models are offered with a range of Mercury power options including the 6.2L (available in twin configurations), the 8.2L MAG, 8.2L MAG HO, the HP525, and the new 565 Sterndrive.

“We were coming out originally with smaller models because that’s where we felt the real market was,” says Walker. “Baja boaters want to grow in their Bajas. We want to be there for them to do that.”
Walker continued to explain that one of the most important features that the company is touting for the 2013 model year are the series of graphic options that are available. To check out the graphics packages be sure to visit www.bajamarine.com
