We enjoyed welcoming back many folks who have run with us in previous years – some of the regulars brought new boats this year – it was a beautiful day, and a great run. Our usual pace boat from Poker Runs America was in the paint shop getting a new look – it will be back next year, and we can’t wait to see the new motif.

This year’s run went off on time thanks to Rob Shooping in his new Eliminator, who started everyone in fine fashion. I understand his “Hot To Go” is now running at about 160! Rob also won the “Best Graphics” award and Hot To Go was recognized as a major sponsor this year. Our hats go off to him for his support!

Along the way stops were made in the city of Buffalo, Island Marine, Ray’s house, and East Pier Marine before the fleet roared back to the Dockside Inn for the party and awards ceremonies. The 2010 Western New York Fun Run was well attended, the food was great (as usual), and everyone enjoyed the entertainment.

Bubby Pawlak won “Best Hand” with a flush, and had a great run in his 42’ Cigarette Tiger. This year we are going to write less, and just say it with pictures.
