The CMI Performance Experience - 2006 Poker Run Photo Contest, held June 15 to August 15, was designed to recognize thousands of performance boaters from all over the United States and Canada who participate in and support the many Poker Run events held annually. Contest participants were required to submit photos of his or her powerboat that is rigged to deliver peak performance for the ultimate on-water experience, which were showcased on CMI's web site, www.custommarine.com. To win a daily prize package and qualify for a chance to win the Grand prize drawing, boat owners were required to notify CMI within 48 hours that he saw his boat posted on the site.

According to Esposito, nearly 1000 boaters had the opportunity to participate in the contest.
