Poker
runs America's editorial mandate is to promote the growth
of performance boating. Whether it involves poker runs or
offshore racing, our message is simply that performance
boating is one of the most satisfying leisure-time activities
you'll ever experience.
It
doesn't matter what size performance boat you own or how
much power it has. If poker runs, racing or just flexing
your throttles on the water turns you on, you're our kind
of reader. Maybe you don't even own a performance boat -
yet! After we show you all the fun you've been missing out
on, we're confident that you'll soon be paying your local
dealer a visit. After all, we know the real truth: Once
performance boating gets in your blood, there's no turning
back.
They
may sign up for our APRA-sanctioned poker runs and they
may also participate in other poker runs across the nation.
If they love racing (what poker runners doesn't), they simply
want fast-paced, heart-stopping action on the high seas.
Sure,
we'd like every poker run to be an APRA (America Poker Runs
Association) event, but more importantly, we want every
poker run to follow some commonsense safety guidelines so
no one gets hurt. The same goes for offshore racing.
Let's
afce it, we're all dedicated to the growth of performance
boating. In Poker Runs America magazine we feature special
reports on a wide variety of events across the nation. In
our annual Offshore Racing edition, we extensively feature
APBA Offshore as well as SBI races. Whether it involves
poker runs or offshore racing, if we work together to achieve
the common goal we all share we can make sure that performance
boating takes its rightful place as one of the world's greatest
motorsports.
