Publisher's Message For Vol. 7/ No. 8
PERFORMANCE BOAT TELEVISION IS HERE!

For years, many of our poker runners - as well as leading marine industry members across the nation - have mentioned that they'd love to see a "televised" version featuring the same unique concept that - quick-as-lightning - propelled Poker Runs America to the A-list of performance magazines.

The wait is over! After joining forces with John Potts of Creative Television Communications, we officially launched Poker Runs America's Performance Boat Television - an adrenaline-pumping series of half-hour programs that will bring action-packed offshore boating into the homes of millions of viewers throughout the nation...and beyond.

Each episode will feature in-depth evaluations of hot new boats, the latest in marine high-tech and tips from the experts showing you how to get the most from your performance boat. The show will broadcast racing highlights and recaps from national and regional circuits. Viewers will also get a behind-the-scenes look as we present up-close interviews and commentaries from the superstars of powerboat racing. Last, but not least, Performance Boat Television will cover poker run events throughout North America.

The show is being carried by the Men's Channel (Dish Network 218) on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. (ET - 3:30 p.m. PT); Florida Sunshine Network on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. (ET); Direct TV (Channel 632 - Extended Sports Package) on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. (ET); Primestar (Channel 185 - Extended Sports Package) on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. (ET); and Dish Network (Channel 422) on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. (ET).

I would like to invite all readers to join us as we take performance boating to the next level. We wrote the book on poker runs with Poker Runs America magazine. Now we're taking the action-packed thrills of offshore performance to television! ( Top )
